We are hiring a Partnership Coordinator — a young, dynamic, and proactive professional who will become our liaison with NGOs, public bodies, universities, startups, and companies. Your mission will be to build, nurture, and grow strategic alliances capable of multiplying Sea the Change’s environmental and social impact, supporting our ambitious growth targets.

Role description

As Partnership Coordinator, you will be involved in a range of activities, including:

Sourcing & Business Development

  • Research new organisations and prospects

  • Pre-qualify partners and schedule introductory calls

Project Delivery & Reporting

  • Draft partnership agreements and negotiate amendments

  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., number of agreements closed, avoided CO₂ impact, etc.)

Relationship Building & Communications

  • Share information with the Social Media Manager for IG/LinkedIn carousels and newsletters

  • Act as the first point of contact post-signature for feedback and co-marketing

Digital Platform Support

  • Onboard partners onto the new platform

Requirements

  • Recent Master’s graduates in: Environmental Economics, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, or related fields

  • Passion for sustainability: strong interest in environmental and social issues and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future; knowledge of Blue Economy topics is a plus

  • Technical knowledge: understanding of ESG principles, international frameworks (GRI, SDGs, ESRS), environmental and social impact assessment tools, and project management

  • Passion for the sea and the underwater world

  • Effective communication: empathy in engaging with external stakeholders; excellent written and spoken communication skills in Italian and English

  • Availability to travel to our Venice office weekly during the initial onboarding period

  • Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively across functions

  • Proactivity: a proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with national/EU funding calls and grant writing

  • Software development, IT, and programming

  • Communications and marketing with a sustainability focus

  • Knowledge of Spanish and French
