“The sea, once it bewitches its enchants, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
Jacques-Yves Cousteau
In Sea the Change we fully share this fascination and believe it is essential to share it to encourage virtuous behaviors aimed at reducing the effects of climate change. The benefits the sea can bring to human health and well-being have long been known and widely studied, but they are more important than ever in light of the transformations that marine ecosystems are currently facing.
Whether in business or education, knowledge and direct experience of the sea brings the senses and emotions into play, allowing us to perceive our interconnectedness to various ecosystem elements. This is why there are several activities in Sea the Change's portfolio, which can be activated throughout Italy and can foster the sensitivity of the people involved.
The team building activities offered involve an experiential approach that allows employees and managers to have fun, strengthen their group bond, enrich their knowledge, and increase awareness of environmental issues and corporate social responsibility. Our partners, TAO (Turtles of Adriatic Organization) and WILDSTEPS, who are responsible for the offered activities, were selected with great care for their endorsement of the Sea the Change approach.
Educational activities in schools promote a learning-by-doing approach by combining moments of face-to-face education with hands-on activities and actual workshops. Future generations need ad hoc skills to understand the complexity of current and future environmental challenges. Knowledge of the issues related to marine pollution is an essential part of this process. Projects are proposed in agreement with our partners, TAO (Turtles of Adriatic Organization) and artist Stari Ribar.
